Traditions Of Hinduism: In the Vedic age, the worship of Trinity wasn't much in vogue. People , at that time used to give more importance to the natural elements i.e., Panchabhoot which consists of five natural elements namely Vayu(Air), Agni(Fire), Varun(Water) , Bhoomi(Earth) and Aakash(Sky). But, with various Puranas coming into existence over time, the idea of praying to Trinity became more popular. Puranas like Shiv Puran, Vishnu Puran, Devi Mahatyam( Durga Saptashati) , etc., introduced us to the present major deities. Let us now, learn about various traditions in Hinduism . The ancient scriptures of Hinduism states about the existence of a divine force/energy with which the universe came into existence. It is referred as PARA BRAHMANAM which is beyond explanation, beyong imagination and beyong time too. It has no shape, no gender, no size & no colour. This energy/force is base/root of all the religions , that is why we should respect every religion. But as Hinduism also promotes polytheism. This Para Brahman can be further divided into Adi Purush and Adi Parashakti. Here, Adi purush denotes all the space present in the universe and Adi Parashakti is all the energy that the universe contains. Okay! Let us bring science in here.
